❤️ Tuckahoe RED Fridays & Veterans Day Reminders! ❤️

Dear Tuckahoe Families,

As we celebrate Veterans Appreciation Month, the Tuckahoe Veterans Appreciation Committee would like to remind everyone of a few special ways we can come together to honor the brave men and women who have served and continue to serve our country!

❤️ Tuckahoe Wears RED on Fridays!

Throughout November, we encourage all students and staff to wear RED every Friday in recognition of R.E.D. (Remember Everyone Deployed).

Whether it's one of our Tuckahoe RED shirts (pictured below) or simply something red from your closet, let's fill our hallways with red to show our support for the brave service members who are currently deployed and their families!

We warmly invite our Tuckahoe families, veterans, and community members to join us on the front lawn of Tuckahoe Common School for our 4th Annual Field of Flags Ceremony.

This special tradition allows our students to honor our nation's heroes through music, recognition, and the meaningful planting of American flags. This year, we are especially proud to recognize our partnership with Paws of War!

⭐ Hallway of Heroes: Keep Those Tributes Coming!

Our Hallway of Heroes is coming together, but there's still room for more heroes!

If you haven't returned your child's Hallway of Heroes tribute sheet, please send it in as soon as possible. We would love to recognize the veterans and active-duty service members who are special to your family.

Our display will remain up throughout November, serving as a reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and service of our nation's heroes.

❤️🤍💙 One School. One Community. Endless Gratitude.

Thank you for helping us teach our students the importance of honoring those who serve and putting Tuckahoe's values of Pride, Respect and Responsibility into action.

With gratitude,
