As Veterans Day approaches, our school community is coming together to honor the brave men and women who have served our country. Earlier this week we sent home information about our Hall of Heroes project, and we would love for you to participate!
Our Hall of Heroes display will celebrate veterans and active-duty service members connected to our Tuckahoe families. We invite you to share photos and brief stories about the veterans in your life so our students can personally connect to the meaning of service, sacrifice, and gratitude.
This special display will be showcased leading up to our Field of Flags Ceremony on

❤️ Wear Red Fridays
Each Friday, students and staff are invited to wear red to support R.E.D. — Remember Everyone Deployed, a simple but powerful way to show appreciation for those currently serving.

🐾 VetDogs Fundraiser Begins!
In the spirit of giving back, we are proud to support America’s VetDogs, an organization providing service dogs to veterans with disabilities. Donations can be made here — we thank you in advance for your kindness and support.
Thank you for helping us make Veterans Day meaningful for our students and for our entire community. Together, we honor those who have served and teach our children the importance of gratitude, respect, and service to others.
With appreciation,
